Minneapolis, Minnesota — Today, EpixHDTV is announcing the opening of a new newsroom on the EpixHDTV homepage and the closure of the EpixHDTV Telegram channel.
EpixHDTV originally had a Newsroom on the EpixHDTV homepage, although it was closed at the beginning of 2022 as it was consolidated into the Telegram channel. Almost 2 years later, the organization is backing away from those changes, and opening a new newsroom, citing simplification and organization as reasons for these changes.
“We originally switched to Telegram for those quick announcements and updates,” said EpixHDTV manager Isaac. “But we realized that the Telegram channel did not meet our requirements and expectations, and that’s the reason for the closure”.
Some new changes also coming along with this change is the types of content the newsroom will be used for. Instead of just press releases, EpixHDTV will also be publishing articles and more.
The posts on the Telegram channel will be transferred over to the new and improved newsroom. Old press releases prior to the Telegram channel will not be displayed due to technical limitations. If you are looking for an old press release, please contact the EpixHDTV team, and they will be more than happy to accommodate your needs.
The EpixHDTV Telegram channel will be kept read-only until the end of 2023 when it will be permanently deleted.
